James O'Hara is a writer and narrative designer with a background in screenwriting and over a decade of experience shaping stories through writing, design, and narrative systems. ​​​Alongside screenwriting, he is currently developing his first solo game in Unreal Engine, a post-apocalyptic narrative built around player choice and ambient design, while serving as a Lead Writer and Narrative Designer with Seaside Studios. ​​​​Explore recent personal projects below, selected portfolio samples, or his blog for ongoing updates. The Journeyman is an original television pilot and narrative game prototype in active development. Set in a post-pandemic world, the story follows Caleb Moore as he travels the desolate Northern Line. The project emphasizes ambient design, survival themes, and character-driven storytelling.
